Pull the cinchcord on the large gauntlet and the wrist ladderlock webbing to lock out the snow. Synthetic Heatshield insulation locks in warmth, and if that's not enough, a hand-warmer pocket lets you stash a heat packet for additional warmth to be added. The leash is removable.
