so far so good but fit isn't perfect May 5, 2015
Reviewer: Laura Scudder from Carroll Valley, PA
This helmet was purchased to replace a Giro Sheer.  It lacks the second adjustment system that the Giro has, to control where it sits on the forehead.  That is a shame, b/c otherwise this is a handsome helmet.  For folks who wear glasses, that second adjustment is important, to keep the goggles from pushing my glasses down.  But given the extent to which the Giro broke during my fall, I wondered if it had a mfr defect to fall apart like that.  Anyway, I'm going for performance over fit this time and tried the Smith.  The picture of the helmet in the ad clearly showed a matte finish, but this is very shiny.  Not my preference but if I continue to blow out helmets at this rate, it won't be around long anyway.

This helmet is intended to be a back-up for the overpriced Blackberry Valence I bought at the slopes.  The price of $76 is about right for what this product is.  $180 is ridiculously high, of course.

Comfortable helmet with style!  Helmet looks great. It is very shiny but I knew that when I purchased the helmet. Back dial gives helmet a perfect fit.
