As you know there are a lot of retailers opening their doors on Thanksgiving Day. We have elected not to follow that trend. WE BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A DAY OF CELEBRATION WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

This means that none of our stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day.

What are some features to look for in a headlamp?

Camping lanterns are great for lighting up your campsite, but if you are still hiking when the sun goes down, a headlamp is a must-have item. When selecting a headlamp, look for a model that fits your head properly, as well as one that provides even, dependable light.

Different models of Petzl light are reliable options when you are selecting a headlamp. For example, the Petzl Tikka 2 headlamp uses triple-A batteries to fuel an element of LED. A pushbutton switch makes it easy to change from low-lighting to bright-lighting mode. The Petzl Tikka 2 headlamp provides three white lighting modes, the lowest of which yields 140 hours of light. The highest white lighting mode yields about 55 hours of light. This Petzl light also comes with a red light that can be set to continuous mode or blinking mode. For a full range of headlamps and other camping lights, visit your local Sun & Ski Sports shop.
