Delivering optimal traction on varied surfaces, Salomon's Contagrip® outsoles use the ideal combination of specialized rubbers for trekking. The Gussetted tongue and anti-debris mesh lets you avoid getting debris in the shoe and trapped between your foot and the footbed while the High-cut profile for increased ankle support, stability and protection. The Sky Boot's protective heel cap provides rearfoot stability and protection with the Sensifit™ System that works to cradle the foot providing a precise and secure fit. This hiking boot has an abrasion resistant lining that allows for excellent breathability and is quick drying. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Footwear is guaranteed to keep you dry and offers an extended range of comfort. The full bootie construction is exclusive to Salomon and the only way to keep your boot waterproof to the top.
The Salomon Wings Sky GTX® Backpacking Boot also features the Agile Chassis System, an Anatomical EVA footbed, a Molded EVA midsole provides lighweight cushioning and stability, an OrthoLite® sockliner that combines a specific Ortholite® foam and an EVA heel cup.
