Returning an Item

How to Return an Item Top

Returns by Mail/FedEx:

All products must be returned in NEW and UNUSED condition, in original manufacturer boxes and with a copy of your original Packing Slip and the completed Return Form to ensure full credit.

Please Note: ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS on Climbing Equipment, Food or Beverages, and Electronic Media.

Bikes, Frames, and Bike Part Returns: A RMA number is required for all bike, bike frame and bike part returns to insure proper packaging and shipping standards for your protection. Returns will be accepted for items that are new and unused condition. Any parts returned that have been installed, used or damaged will not be accepted. Call 866-786-3869 to receive RMA Number.   1. Complete the Return form.
  2. Pack the item securely in the original packaging.
  3. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We do not accept COD deliveries. Refused packages may be subject to handling fees up to 15%.
  4. For your protection, we recommend that you use FedEx or Insured Parcel Post with a tracking for your return. Ship the return package to:

  5. Keep a copy of the Return Tracking Number until your order payment has been crediting to your account.
  6. You may expect a refund in the same form of payment used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your returned order. You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
Returns or Exchanges at our Stores:

In addition to being able to return an item via FedEx/MAIL, we are happy to accept returns or exchanges at any Sun & Ski retail location.

You may take the item, invoice and all the original packaging and accessories to the Customer Service counter at your local Sun & Ski store. We will do our best to meet your needs with an exchange but, if that is not an option, we will issue a refund to you in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.

Return Exceptions Top

Our Standard Return policies do not apply to all items. Exceptions and instructions on how to return those particular items are shown below.

Electronic Media Products:
  • DVD's
  • Videotapes

Should you wish to return an electronic media product, you may return the product, unopened and within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping and handling charges.

Food & Beverages:
  • For your safety, all food and drink items are not returnable.
Climbing Equipment:
  • Rope, Webbing and Cordage
  • Harness and Helmets
  • Climbing Hardware: Carabiners, Protection and Belay Devices

Due to possible safety hazards, these types of climbing equipment may NOT be returned.
