By incorporating a new high powered LED, the MiNewt.X2�s output more than doubles for 2008 to 150 lumens on high and 92 lumens on low! Regulated run times also increase for 2008 to 3:30 on high and 7:00 on low. Put in perspective, the new MiNewt.X2�s lumen output on low is greater than the first generation MiNewt on high! Optics are very important to the performance of any lighting system, that�s why a Borofloat lens and custom reflector are used in the MiNewt.X2 and other NiteRider LED lighting systems. This combination delivers superior performance levels when compared to traditional glass lens or T.I.R.�s. A Gimbal Style mount is used for handlebar mounting. A new titanium finish with an additional clear coat for added protection, faster charge time and tabbed mounting rings for easier handlebar mounting, round out the MiNewt.X2�s 2008 features.
