Tough leather reinforcement, Primaloft® insulation and the industry's best GORE-TEX® waterproof/breathable insert and Marmot's own Membrain® technology have made the Marmot Men's Randonnee Glove a most beloved glove among skiers and guides. The patented Primaloft® Synthetic Down, produces the closest synthetic to Down in terms of structure, warmth and feel. The only insulation that treats each fiber with a permanent water-repellent finish. Twice as warm for its thickness than other insulation. The DriClime® Bi-Component Wicking Lining for Breathability and Excellent Moisture Transfer will keep your hands dry as well as warm.

I am wearing a second free pair from Marmot for recreational skiing at the intermediate level. Once again, the fabric around the base of the fingers has torn, revealing the insulation. They just don't seem to hold up under normal use handling ski poles. Will be switching to an all leather glove from a European competitor.
