The Hyperlite Women's Jade Wakeboard with Jinx Bindings is a package packed with features to take your riding to the next level. A great board for a beginner who plans on picking up the sport and running with it.
With a directional set up the Jade will help you learn to get onto and feel more comfortable on that toe side edge. Getting onto a toe side edge can be somewhat intimidating at first but this board is designed with toe side channel extensions and deeper toe side fins so you can get on that edge easier and provides stronger edge control. Once you feel comfortable enough you can change out that 1.3" toe side fins to match the .8" heel side fin and let your riding take off from there.
Since toe side edging isn't the only important thing to learn the Jade also makes this board slightly more forgiving thanks to a variable edge design. This edge has a softer more rounded edge in the midsection of the board so you're not as likely to catch an edge but it sharpens towards the tip and tail for more hold and grip which you will appreciate as you progress. Finally, the subtle 3-stage rocker allows for smoother carving and large pop off the wake without causing unwanted drag.
