Description Technical Specs

The EC90 TT is the lightest 90-millimeter-deep wheelset on the market. Itís the result of Easton's drive to create the fastest wheel possible for their sponsored road and triathlon racers. Years of engineering experience and repeated sessions at San Diegoís Low Speed Wind Tunnel have helped Easton create a wheelset that weighs just 1,440-grams and is unmatched in a wide range of wind conditions. The EC90 TT wheelset utilizes the deepest rims in Eastonís line (90-millimeters deep) and feature their proprietary Variable Nipple Bed technology which places material only where itís needed to support spoke tension. The R4 TT front hub reduces frontal exposure to the wind by as much as 50-percent. Additionally the low spoke count (12-front; 16-rear) and hidden nipples enhance aerodynamic efficiency. Like every Easton wheel, the EC90 Aero is entirely hand built and acoustically tuned in Eastonís own factory.

Excellent Set of Wheels March 30, 2015
Reviewer: Brad from Dallas
I finally made the jump from clincher to tubular tires and I will never look back. The pros: The wheel set is faster and takes less energy. The cons: The wheel set prances from side to side. I would not recommend the wheel set for a novice rider, because they may overcompensate and wipe out, but for a seasoned rider, they are a must have.
