The Easton EC70 SL Clincher Carbon Road Wheelset combines the weight and stiffness benefits of carbon with the durability and convenience of an aluminum clincher to create one of the most versatile wheel sets in Easton's line. The EC70 SL is fast, light and stiff while offering an incredible hand-built ride quality. They will make you go faster! Best for: All around road racing. Optional Campagnolo cassette body is compatible with Campagnolo 9 and 10 speed cogs. Easton does not include rim strips. The Campy cassette bodies are available through special phone order or your local Easton dealer for additional cost. ($40.00 for Campy cassette body). (OEM Packaged without skewers)

Features
- Hand-built: Wheel building is as much art as it is science. High, uniform spoke tension is necessary to build strong wheels that stay true. Nothing does this better than experienced human hands. It’s a painstaking process. Easton’s systematic approach to precision tensioning and truing sets the standard in the industry.
- C3 Hub Technology: Easton wheels are meticulously tuned by skilled craftsmen to achieve uniform spoke tension. This simple procedure vastly strengthens the wheel and greatly reduces spoke failure. Further, it allows us to sufficiently tension the spokes so that the wheel has the compound attributes of light weight, stiffness, and durability. The spokes are only one aspect of the wheel that sets Easton apart. Every aspect of the wheel, from bearings to nipples, has been refined and improved.

- Shimano rear hub body. The Shimano cassette body is compatible with Shimano 8, 9 and 10 speed cogs (including new Dura Ace). If you already have one configuration and want to switch to the other, it’s a very simple matter of swapping cassette bodies.
