Description Technical Specs

The Burton Men's Sherlock Snowboard solves mysteries of the deep and provides the solution for hitting natural features, fresh pillows, and untracked landings like a pro.

This pro-level deck serves up the freeride class of the Barracuda but with the freestyle versatility of the Custom, it slays deep snow and featured terrain to stay satisfied. Featuring the best of both worlds Flying-V offers the playfulness and float through pow supplied by rocker, with the edge-control for crisp snap, added pop and power through turns of camber. Adding to the awesome hybrid rocker with Side Effects, lengthened surface area at the tip and tail contract points for improved edge-hold and allows the board to plane easier in powder.

Packed with so much tech the Sherlock is sure to unlock hidden talents all over the mountain. Smooth Ride internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain with more control and less impact on our body. Pro-Tip tapered the tip and tail thickness for reduced swing weight and easier mobility. A twin-like shape gives the freestyle feel of a twin with the subtle tweaks that improve float and control with a slight directional shaping set-back stance and stiffer tail flex for increased pop, control and flow. For improved performance, thicker more powerful core sections and thinner more flexible sections throughout the core transfer energy making the board more stable and easily manipulated. Frostbite edges extend out slightly from beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard icy conditions while remaining forgiving in softer conditions. Throw in some carbon i-beams as a backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap and so much more.

The Sherlock has so much to offer but in the end less reading about it, more riding it.

Haven't got a chance to ride this board yet, but from the reviews I have watched it seems pretty great. The guys at Burton had great things to say about it. I plan to ride it this spring somewhere in CO.
