Originally the Burton Party Sock was just called the Burton Sock. Back in those days it had the same quick-drying properties of an acrylic/nylon/spandex blend, the same rider-specific support and cushioning, and the same no-irritation toe seam it has today. The big change came when team riders Shaun White, Jussi Oksanen, Keegan Valaika, Mads Jonsson, and Kevin Pearce found out about the “Burton Sock” and turned the whole thing into a big party.
