How to Choose a Ski Length

It would be nice to have a magic formula for choosing a ski length. However, there are a lot of factors that come into play when choosing the right length ski for you.

There is a basic rule of thumb to measure how long your skis should be. A beginner should see the tip of the ski falls between his or her chin and mouth with the back tip on the ground. An intermediate skierís skis should fall between the mouth and eyes. Any advanced skierís ski would fall between their eyes and the top of the head. Here is a sizing chart that will give you a general idea of ski size range you should be looking at.
