The shifts are quick and easy, and the 10-speed cassette gives you plenty of gearing options. All this would be nothing if it weren?t hung on the sturdy, yet lightweight hydroformed alloy Avant frame. Its triple-butted tubes pare down unnecessary grams and provide a tuned ride for more comfort. And speaking to comfort, the Avant is built with a more endurance-specific geometry; the higher stack and closer reach allow a slightly more upright torso position than our race-oriented Orca.
