The K2 Men's Sight Skis offers a stiff, stable, snappy yet affordable ski aimed at shredding anywhere on the mountain. The Sight's rock solid construction allows it to pop strong off lips while still handling off-piste snow and icy pipe walls with confidence. See the Sight as a ski that will give an open view of all skiing - from the fierce park and pipe competition scene to eye-opening urban movie segments - with the same successful outcome. A moderately wider tip than tail maximizes the skis performance in the forward direction. This means the ski makes a slightly different arc when skiing switch.
Built to be light and agile with an 85mm waist and slightly more forgiving, the Sight is constructed with Triaxial braided fiberglass around an Aspen wood core to provide torsional rigidity for added control, ease, forgiveness, responsiveness, and energy. The Twin Tech construction process increases the durability of sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90-degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The Twin Tech construction actually rolls the top material into the sidewall reducing the angle that is prone to abuse. Add on durable 3.5 mm steel edges that are far more resistant to cracking for a more durable, longer lasting ski.
The K2 Sight comes FLAT with built in inserts for super fast mounting of the
K2/Marker 10.0 Free binding system without the need for drilling. Increased surface area of the insert rings provides 67% more pullout strength than that of standard binding screws. A low stand height and weight of the track and cable system makes it ideal for park, backcountry and the entire mountain. K2 tip and tail rivets have evolved to allow the addition of a climbing skin onto the ski for all your backcountry access needs.
